Community Bible Groups
With the Corona virus pandemic we are meeting online using ZOOM
It’s hard to live a spiritual life on a diet of one 25 minute Bible talk on a Sunday. Our community groups are a great place to meet others no matter your faith background, while pursuing truth together. We currently have 2 groups which include prayer for our practical needs, bible study and food! You don’t have to be a Christian to come along.
We see often in the bible that Jesus met and discussed theology around meals and so we believe that a meal is an important aspect of the event, a chance to refuel physically as well as spiritually. We hope that you will feel welcome, like you are a part of a family. Contact us if you’re interested in coming.
—Tuesdays 7.15 – 9pm
An evening that begins with a shared meal, or for those that cannot make the meal, an 8pm start. After the meal, we read a passage or story from the Bible and then share our understanding, questions and insights of the text. It is informal and you do not have to be a Christian to come along. At the end of the evening we pray together.
—Fridays 9:30-11am (women only)
An inductive study of the bible while drinking tea and eating snacks. There is childcare to enable mums to have the flexibility to come.

Youth Bible Studies
Secondary school age youth meet weekly at Café Forever, which includes a mixture of social activities (board games, snooker, etc.) along with a bible study. There are various outings and trips we take on a regular basis to foster community. This group provides a great way for local youth to explore the Christian faith in a safe environment. Contact us if you’re interested in coming.
Kids Bible Club (Year 3 to 6)
—Thursdays 5-6.30pm at Café Forever (during term time)
Children in Years 3 to 6 meet weekly at Café Forever for games, activities, crafts, a light meal and a Bible lesson. You don’t have to have a Christian background for your child to come. You do need to sign a permission slip for your child to come. Contact us if you’re interested in sending your child.
Café Forever (3 Glengall Grove, E14 3NE) is an internet café that serves hot drinks and food. Friendly staff are also on hand to talk through a variety of practical issues, as we’re not just a café! We’re also a community centre running a variety of events and activities throughout the week. Check out the website (www.cafeforever.org) for more info. There are often members of City of Peace Community Church at the café, so if you have questions about the church then feel free to stop by during working hours.
