Moving away from home to the bustle of central London can be quite daunting. We welcome you to visit us where you can get to know some of the local Christian community, be challenged, encouraged and grown in your faith and find a little peace in the busy-ness of student life.
We are a loving Church family who believe in community together -particularly through meals and companionship! Several families and individuals at City of Peace love opening their homes to students and always ensure that (when they leave) they are well fed!
Thursday Night: 8-10pm
‘Let’s Talk About It’ is run by a group young adults/students/very late teenagers who are connected to City of Peace Community Church (it is open to any young student/young adult from any church). They meet almost every Thursday at 8pm and discuss theology, Bible passages and share life together through encouragement, fun and prayer. A meal is not provided, but puddings, snacks and lots of rooibos tea (our church member host is from South Africa) are provided in abundance!
We also run a Tuesday Night Bible Study at 7:15pm (which includes a free meal!). This is not student specific, but hosts to church members of any age. This takes place at a local church member’s house on the Isle of Dogs near Mudchute Station.
